Plan the course

The course is planned for sixty 50-minute meetings. Begin with orientation, teach each of the eighteen units over three meetings, and reserve five meetings for the final project, revision and presentations. Each unit includes a worked case, an assignment, expected answers and scoring guidance.

Teachers can use the worksheets, model answers and rubrics to assess a student’s decisions as well as the arithmetic. Support and extension options let the class work on the same publishing problem at different levels of independence.
